In short, 3D Printing as used here, is the process of melting plastics and polymers and squeezing the results out onto a surface, at precise locations.

What is it good for?

3D Printing is an excellent resource for rapid prototyping and low quantity, cost effective manufacturing purposes.

What are we using it for?

We use 3D Printing as cost effective manufacturing for low volume projects. Our projects are split between a commercially available product line and a design to manufacture service.

What Materials do we use?

We manufacture our products using the following materials:

1. ABS – Inexpensive with high strength an low flexibility
2. PETG – More expensive than ABS and not quiet as strong, but features excellent impact Resistance
3. Nylon – Very resilient and durable. UV resistant
4. Polycarbonate (PC) – Bendable without breaking, tough and high heat resistance
5. TPU – Flexible material with a rubber-like consistency. Thicker layers created a harder surface

Most of our products are manufactured out of ABS or PETG. This keeps costs down while still maintaining overall product quality. TPU, Nylon and PC is used in fit for purpose scenarios where their unique properties are needed.
